Manchester Work Clubs

Work clubs offer help to adults not in employment, including:

  • Online job search
  • Finding vacancies
  • Creating and updating CVs
  • Writing cover letters
  • Completing application forms
  • Interview techniques.

Some clubs also offer (ESOL) English for Speakers of Other Languages, open to speakers of other languages who need support and guidance with their job search and job applications using good written and spoken English. Look for ESOL within the work club name.

Engage Grow Go, is a Manchester homeless charity with an innovative person-centred approach to homelessness and rough sleeping. We aim to mentor homeless people in life skills, get them accommodation and back into work and society.

Through a series of creative and wellbeing activities, we will support the wellbeing and ability to fulfil aspirations of women who are sex working in Manchester. Women will participate in a series to skills activities, exploring what it is they enjoy, which MASH will support them to continue with.

WomenMATTA will deliver a range of trauma-informed learning and development opportunities to women impacted by the criminal justice system. Delivered in our Manchester women’s centres, these gender responsive activities, co-produced with women with lived experience, will provide personal and practical skills development that meet their needs and support their aspirations.

​​Employcare Manchester is a new project that will support unpaid carers and former carers to move into or closer to employment.  Unpaid Carers will access free support, which includes one-to-one meetings with a dedicated coach, access to workshops, and help with job searching and CVs.

Reform Radio will deliver two 10-week series of accessible creative workshops across
Reform Radio Manchester, for young parents (18-30 years) who are economically inactive. These
workshops will use storytelling as a tool to engage and support participants in developing
