Northcoders launches new programme to ‘upskill’ developers for post-Covid economy
The Manchester and Leeds-based coding school said it is launching a new version of its Language DevAccelerator Programme, which has been curated to upskill software developers for the post-Covid economy.
The programme, combining instructor-led workshops, e-learning, mentoring and practical project-based learning, will see developers dive into one of three specific language tracks via dedicated masterclasses for the first time, where participants will be able to focus on GO, Typescript or C#.
The newly launched programme is a 13-month industry-led professional training programme, paid for with apprenticeship levy funding, co-investment or levy-transfer.
The bootcamp said, if employers don’t have a levy, they can share the cost with the government, which means the company pays 5 per cent and the government will pay the rest.
