Increased demand for cereal leads to urgent recruitment drive at Kellogg’s

Kellogg’s in Trafford Park are urgently seeking staff to help meet increased demand for cereal across the country, as shoppers disregard warnings not to stockpile goods during the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak.

The company wants to increase the production of some of its most popular products, and to so it needs to recruit people who are experienced in food manufacturing operations, or who have relevant, transferrable technical skills.

Site Leader, Paul Wrigley, is keen to get new recruits on board as soon as possible. Speaking of the heightened demand, he said: “At this time, our focus is on making all the food we can to help feed Britain.  We have an amazingly dedicated team here at our Manchester factory who are doing a fantastic job keeping things going. But as demand increases, so does our need for great people.  That’s why I’d ask anyone with the right skills and a great attitude to get in contact with us so we can talk to them about a fixed-term role."

Anyone who’s seeking a new opportunity and has the right skills can take a look at the vacancies on the Kellogg’s Careers website.
